Villa Igea
Campus Masterplan

Urban Planning + Landscape Architecture

SPACE TRAVELLERS, in collaboration with LAND Italia, has been tasked with reimagining a new identity for the Villa Igea Cluster. This captivating villa, dating back to the 1800s, holds significant historical importance as a longstanding landmark within Lodi’s agricultural community. The convergence of architecture, landscape design, and a commitment to environmental sustainability and productivity coalesce in the revitalization of this area, breathing fresh vitality into the legacy of a cherished symbol. This endeavor involves a comprehensive restoration of a vital segment of Lodi’s rural landscape, incorporating an innovative functional program. An iconic additional volume, gracing a newfound communal space, emerges as the crowning touch. This contemporary structure not only reinvents the urban facade but also serves to underscore the Villa’s transformation into a dynamic
gateway, symbolizing a new era of purpose and distinction.
