Space Travellers 
at BIENNALE DELLO STRETTO 2° Edition


From September 18 to 22, 2024, the Biennale dello Stretto will take place. The National Institute of Bioarchitecture will be present on September 20 with our President, Anna Carulli, and expert Massimiliano Pardi. This is one of the most anticipated international cultural events in the architectural scene, which will be held between Campo Calabro, Reggio Calabria, and Messina.

Space Travellers Present Capsule Collection at Contemporary Art and Design Exhibition Curated by FORO Studio



From September 29 to October 10, 2023, right after Fashion Week, the Church of Sant'Ambrogio della Vittoria in Parabiago (MI) hosted /AN-Tì-TE-SI/, a contemporary design selection curated by FORO Studio and organized by Be Alpha design hut in collaboration with Nonahora. The exhibition explored the concept of antithesis, highlighting a harmonious dualism filled with contradictions. Space Travellers contributed to the event with Beyond, a capsule collection featuring two jackets that delve into the ambiguity and thought-provoking nature of design.

Space Travellers’ Andrea Bulloni Joins NABA as Professor for Master in New Urban Design.



Andrea Bulloni, co-founder of Space Travellers Architects, has been appointed professor at NABA – Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti in Milan for the Master in New Urban Design. Bulloni will bring his expertise in innovative urban strategies and sustainable architecture to the program, which focuses on rethinking urban spaces in response to contemporary challenges. His appointment strengthens the connection between architectural practice and education, inspiring a new generation of urban designers to tackle complex global issues.

Andrea Bulloni invited by the European Commision Joint Research Center Explores Future Pathways for Urban Green Transition at Politecnico di Torino


In a dynamic lecture held at the prestigious Castello del Valentino, Andrea Bulloni led an engaging session on "Exploring Future Pathways Towards the Green Transition in Urban Environments." The event, hosted at the Politecnico di Torino, focused on using design, futures, and systems thinking to address the challenges of urban transformation in line with the European Green Deal (EGD).
Participants, organized in thematic groups based on their expertise, worked on identifying tools to support the EGD's targets. These themes included climate ambitions, sustainable mobility, and biodiversity protection. In a second phase, the tables were rearranged to explore innovative approaches for urban sustainability, highlighting synergies and policy tools necessary for transformative change.
Ciabattini's workshop offered fresh insights into how urban systems can evolve beyond current policy frameworks, contributing to the broader goals of the Green Deal.

Space Travellers’s Intgrated station in MIND’s WEST Gate have been approved by the municipality of Milan


The municipality of Milan has given the green light to Space Travellers' innovative integrated transport station at MIND’s West Gate. This new hub will serve as the heart of sustainable mobility, offering seamless connections between local and regional transport. The station’s design features three intersecting geometries: a rectangular space for services and refreshments, a long sheltered strip connecting all stops, and a triangular informational hub guiding users through the entire MIND sector. The project marks a major step forward in enhancing Milan’s transportation infrastructure and user experience.

2020 City of Dreams Pavilion Competition with Visionary Sustainable Design


In a great achievement, Space Travellers has earned a top-five spot with the project LaLuna in the prestigious City of Dreams Pavilion Competition, a collaboration between FIGMENT, the AIANY Emerging New York Architects Committee, and the Structural Engineers Association of New York. The 2020 competition, now in its ninth year, challenged designers to envision a sustainable future for New York City by creating a temporary pavilion with net-zero environmental impact. The Italian architectural firm Space Travellers Architects has been named the winner of Europan 15’s competition for Rødberg, Norway, impressing the jury with their innovative vision for a multipurpose centre. Italian architecture studio space travellers envisions its FREELANDER project as a ritualistic desert environment for the fly ranch 2020. currently in its planning stage, the fly ranch 2020 will be a permanent, year-round, sustainable ‘city’ in the desert, all planned by the founders of burning man and the land art generator initiative (LAGI). space travellers had proposed this entry as part of a larger competition to co-create the massive project. the project and its three elements — ARGO, R.A.N.C.H., and the GHOST DANCERS — take roots in the deep history of the desert context, reflecting on the places and tribes that have characterized the area. the proposal seeks to inspire visitors to connect with the land’s ancient spirit through the use of the innovative and eco-sustainable technologies.

Space Travellers seeks to bridge the ancient city of Yongxin with its proposed Legacy


With its newly envisioned project ‘legacy,’ architecture studio space travellers proposes an updated urban strategy for yongxin, china. the work is developed in response to the ‘bridging yongxin’ competition, which calls for a design-minded replacement for the ancient wenxing floating bridge which once spanned yongxin’s heshui river. the design team seeks to introduce a connective element between the old city center and the north and south riverbanks. the ‘legacy’ bridge proposal is imagined as a web of floating piers supporting a monumental, enclosed complex through which visitors are invited to meander freely, experiencing the dichotomy of the old city and the future of the ‘forever new’ yongxin.
