Cantine Bertelli
Architecture + Landscape Design + Interior Design
The project for the return of wine production activity within the estates aims to clearly and strongly define the identity of the place, through an enhancing intervention that neatly organizes and enhances the area, eliminating the superfetations accumulated over the past years. The intervention is developed along two main axes, each of which identifies a distinct context of action.
The first axis introduces a raised podium that incorporates the existing part of the building, representing both the domestic sphere and the family history associated with the farm. The second axis is dedicated to the wine production activity, which is developed around the main building, finding space below the existing volume. This project thus balances the residential and production function, with an intervention that respects tradition and promotes a modern and orderly vision of the place.
